Manchester City v Wolves – live streaming, tv channel, tv guide

While Manchester City’s season may not have lived up to the high standards of recent years, Pep Guardiola’s side are still in the hunt for silverware.

They’ve secured a place in the FA Cup final and remain firmly in the race for a top-four finish, with Champions League qualification very much within reach.

How to watch Man City vs Wolves

The Premier League clash between Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers is set to kick off tonight, Friday, May 2, 2025, at 8:00 PM BST at the Etihad Stadium.

The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with coverage starting at 7:30 PM BST.

This is typically the stage of the season when City find top gear and the signs are there. They’re unbeaten in their last eight matches in all competitions and have won three Premier League games on the bounce.

City will approach this clash with confidence, especially given their record against Wolves. They’ve lost just once in their last twelve meetings with the Midlands club and edged the reverse fixture 2-1 back in October.

Wolves have made headlines of their own recently, enjoying their best top flight run since 1970 with six straight Premier League wins. That streak has propelled them up the table and lifted them well clear of the relegation battle.

Currently 13th, Gary O’Neil’s side have leapfrogged the likes of Tottenham and Manchester United in the form table over the past ten games, second only to Liverpool in terms of recent results.

And while City will be heavy favourites, Wolves shouldn’t be underestimated. They’ve scored in 14 of their 17 away league matches this season (82%) and found the net on their last six road trips, including tough visits to Anfield, Stamford Bridge, and Old Trafford.

This could be a tighter contest than the table suggests.
