The excitement over Glastonbury’s mystery act is reaching fever pitch, with Haim and Lewis Capaldi now leading the betting market for the coveted secret set slot.

According to the latest odds, Haim are strong favourites at 1/9 (90%), while Lewis Capaldi is close behind at 1/7 (87.5%) – making them the two most likely contenders to take the surprise slot.

The sister trio from Los Angeles, known for their high-energy performances and festival-friendly sound, have already been spotted in the UK ahead of the weekend.

Lewis Capaldi – who took a break from touring last year due to health concerns – has sparked rumours with a series of cryptic social media posts, fuelling speculation that a return could be on the cards.

Other names in the mix include Pulp at 2/5 (71.4%), following their 2023 comeback tour, and Lorde at evens (50%), who last played the festival in 2017. Ed Sheeran (4/6, 60%) and Mumford & Sons (11/10, 47.6%) also remain viable options.

For the dreamers, there’s still a glimmer of hope for Oasis (16/1, 5.9%), whose odds remain long – but not impossible.

An unexpected appearance from the Gallagher brothers would send Worthy Farm into meltdown and go down as one of the greatest Glastonbury moments of all time.
