Sheffield United will look to get their automatic promotion bid back on track when they welcome Cardiff City to Bramall Lane on Friday evening in the Championship.

The Blades had briefly climbed to the top of the table earlier this month, but a poor run of form has seen them slip to third following three straight defeats.

Cardiff head into the clash fighting for their lives at the other end of the table. The Bluebirds remain in the relegation zone and will be desperate to take something from their trip to South Yorkshire.

They’ll be hoping to draw on their FA Cup victory over the Blades in January, which knocked United out of the competition, despite losing the league fixture earlier in the season.

With Sheffield United chasing promotion and Cardiff scrapping for survival there is certainly everything to play for in this one.
