West Ham United host Southampton this weekend in a clash between two sides who have endured tough Premier League campaigns, albeit to very different extents.

For Southampton, the season has been nothing short of a disaster.

The match will not be broadcast on either TnT Sports or Sky Sports channels in the UK today, but viewers can watch through Peacock TV (USA).

What time does the match kick off?

West Ham will host Southampton at the London Stadium on Saturday, 19 April 2025, with kick off scheduled for 15:00 BST.

Rooted to the bottom of the table for the majority of the year, the Saints have managed just 10 points and appear destined to go down in history for all the wrong reasons.

Their focus now is simply avoiding the record books for the worst season in Premier League history, though even that modest goal is beginning to look out of reach.

West Ham find themselves just above the relegation line in 17th, a position that reflects a campaign well below expectations.

A win here could see them climb a few places and restore a measure of pride before the season concludes.

Potter’s side haven’t been convincing lately with three defeats in their last six, with just one win and two draws but they’ll see this as a chance to end the campaign on a more positive note.

The Hammers’ solitary victory in that recent run came against a struggling Leicester side, and although their performances have lacked cohesion, they will be confident of claiming three points here.

Southampton’s form, or lack thereof, has left them looking like a team in complete disarray.

They’ve lacked structure, belief, and consistency, and a trip to London will be yet another stern test.

While these teams may be close in the table, there remains a clear gulf in quality. West Ham, backed by their home fans, will be eager to show it and avoid any late season drama.
