Crystal Palace v Man City FA Cup Final Odds – Eagles look the value

Crystal Palace are just one game away from lifting the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
Their only previous appearance in the final came in 2016, when they were beaten in extra time by Manchester United. Now, under Oliver Glasner, they have the chance to secure their first major trophy.
The Eagles arrive at Wembley in excellent form. Sunday’s 2-0 win away to Tottenham extended their unbeaten run to five matches.

Across all competitions, Palace have lost just two of their last 14, one of those being a 5-2 defeat to Manchester City last month.
There’s reason to expect goals. The last four meetings between the two sides have seen both teams score at least twice.
However, Palace haven’t beaten City since 2021, with their last seven encounters ending in three draws and four defeats.
City’s big game experience maybe their strongest asset.
They showed that in the semi-final with a composed performance against Nottingham Forest, but it’s worth noting Forest created several second-half chances and hit the woodwork twice.
Their final league game offered little encouragement, with a goalless draw away at already relegated Southampton, even with Erling Haaland back in the side.
City’s pedigree at Wembley is well established. This will be their 21st appearance at the national stadium under Pep Guardiola and their third FA Cup final in as many seasons.
After last season’s defeat to Manchester United, they will be determined to finish the job this time.
With Palace in strong form and City looking to rescue a below par campaign, Saturday’s final has all the ingredients for a competitive showdown at Wembley.
