Outcome: Bulgaria’s Dara won Eurovision 2026 in Vienna with Bangaranga on 516 points, ahead of Israel. The UK’s Look Mum No Computer finished 25th and last with a single point.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 reached its Grand Final on 16 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, the 70th anniversary edition of the contest. In the build-up, the betting market reacted to national selection buzz long before the songs were locked in.

How the market looked

Early in the cycle, Finland were installed among the favourites despite their entry not being confirmed until the end of February. Greece, represented by Akylas, attracted strong support, while Sweden once again sat prominently as they prepared to confirm their act via Melodifestivalen, where Felicia’s song My System was heavily backed.

Israel also headed the outright market, having built a reputation for slick staging and contemporary production that scores well with juries and televoters. The BBC confirmed that the United Kingdom would be represented by Look Mum No Computer, an experimental electronic artist and YouTuber based in Kent, a bold choice as the UK looked to improve on recent results.

How it played out

In the end the market was turned on its head by a longshot. Bulgaria, a 12/1 chance in the outright market, claimed a historic first Eurovision victory through 27-year-old Dara and her dance-pop anthem Bangaranga, topping both the jury and public votes to finish on 516 points.

Israel’s Noam Bettan took second with 343 points after a strong public vote, while the United Kingdom endured a night to forget. Look Mum No Computer finished 25th and last with a single point, extending a difficult recent run for the UK at the contest.
