Alan Carr heads Celebrity Traitors markets ahead of October launch

Published

on

With Celebrity Traitors set to land on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this autumn, speculation is already heating up and so are the early betting odds.

The star-studded spin off of the hit psychological reality series will be hosted once again by Claudia Winkleman, with celebrities battling it out to uncover secret saboteurs in a high-stakes game of lies and loyalty.

The Traitors has gripped the nation once again, with a record-breaking 9.2 million viewers tuning in for the season three premiere.

Now there’s an even bigger twist to look forward to – a celebrity edition, where famous faces will turn on each other in the ultimate game of betrayal. This time, it’s not about the money, but the glory.

This time, there’s more than just pride on the line: a £100,000 prize fund is up for grabs.

The winning Traitors or Faithfuls, depending on how the game unfolds will split the money, which will be donated to charities of their choice, adding a meaningful twist to the cloak-and-dagger competition.

Alan Carr odds

Early odds show Alan Carr leading the market at 7/2 (22.2%), thanks to his quick wit and sharp social instincts.

Kate Garraway, priced at 4/1 (20%), brings warmth, resilience and prior reality TV experience, while Stephen Fry, at 9/2 (18.2%), is tipped as a master manipulator should he take part—his intellect and charm could easily carry him to the final.

“This is one of the most entertaining line-ups we’ve seen in years,” said Dave James, odds analyst at Whataretheodds.co.uk. “Alan Carr looks the one to beat, but Kate Garraway is a proven survivor in high-pressure formats. Stephen Fry is the wildcard—if he’s in the mix, he’ll be playing five moves ahead.”

Other notable names in the field include Cat Burns (8/1), Clare Balding (10/1), and veteran actress Celia Imrie (12/1), all of whom bring unique strengths to the game.
