Aubameyang ‘holds the key to Arsenal this season’ as Gunners travel to Watford
It’s taken just four games for the Premier League to witness its first managerial casualty of the season as Watford, without a win and sitting rock bottom, have parted company with Javi Gracia.
Harsh? Perhaps. After all he did guide the Hornets to the FA Cup final last season. But a run of five wins in his last 16 games has resulted in the Spaniard losing his job.
Within an hour of his departure Watford announced his replacement, Quique Sanchez Flores. Back for a second spell at the club three years after leaving for Espanyol.
His first game back in charge will be against Arsenal at Vicarage Road on Sunday. Good luck.
The Gunners have won their last three meetings with Watford to nil and are 16/5 to do so again this weekend.
Unai Emery was disappointed not to win the London Derby in the final game before the international break. The Gunners came from two nil down to clinch a point, but missed a number of clear cut chances late on to secure what would have been their third win of the season.
All in all, though, it’s been a decent start to the season for Arsenal. Lacazette and Aubameyang are on fire, both were on the scoresheet against Tottenham. They’re 6/4 and 6/5 to score anytime respectively.
Arsenal were 1-0 winners at Vicarage Road last season and it’s 10/1 for a repeat scoreline on Sunday.
Watford are 5/2 to secure their first win of the season, the draw is available at 11/4 and Arsenal can be backed at evens to bag all three points on the road.
