Ranieri teams are generally strong on the counter-attack, or, at least, his successful ones are. The counter makes sense for Watford because they have blistering pace in attack and their defence isn’t particularly breathtaking.

Getting men behind the ball and pumping the ball forward quickly could be just the tonic that the Hornets need. The issue will come when they have to play on the front-foot, though.
