What is the Millwall form coming into this one?

Millwall played out a 1:1 draw at Rotherham a few days ago; despite being the dominant side, the Lions were unable to take all three points from that match.

Gary Rowett’s men have not exactly enjoyed their best run of form lately; they’ve suffered five losses in their last nine matches, with two wins and two draws.

With that in mind, Millwall find themselves in 16th place; they’ve won just four of 12 league matches so far.

On the positive side, all of Millwall’s wins this season came at home; they’ve won four of six home games, with two losses.

Gary Rowett’s men will set their sights on their fifth home win of the season as they take on Middlesbrough.

What is the Middlesbrough form like at the moment?

Middlesbrough ended their winless streak by defeating Birmingham City by a lone goal; they were winless in three prior games, with a draw and two losses.

Boro have struggled to find the back of the net lately; as they’ve scored just one goal in their last three matches.

Middlesbrough were in the relegation zone prior to their midweek fixture, but those three points have kicked them up to 18th on the Championship table.

However, Boro have three wins this season, and they all came at home; Leo Percovich’s men have no wins away from home, with a draw and four losses in five road games.

Middlesbrough will hope to string up consecutive wins for the first time this season as they visit the Den.

Millwall and Middlesbrough have squared off against each other a few times in the past, and most of those matches have been on the low-scoring side.

Six of the last seven clashes between these teams saw less than three goals scored.

What is the Millwall vs Middlesbrough prediction?

Both teams have been involved in a few low-scoring games recently; as six of Millwall’s last eight, and four of of Middlesbrough’s last five games went under 2.5.

We shouldn’t expect too many goals in this match. The ‘under 2.5 goals’ option can be backed at 4/6 odds.
