In the other quarter final we were treated to something of a classic as Mark Selby defeated veteran crowd favourite John Higgins 6 frames to four.
We should be treated to another potential classic tonight as these two players, with a ranking of 3 and 4 in the world respectively do battle in Bolton tonight.

Both these players haven’t played each other since 2019 when the Bristolian defeated Selby 9 frames to four.
