The nation’s favourite ballroom show was back for its 23rd series, and the competition heated up as the next batch of celebrity cha-cha-cha hopefuls took to the famous Strictly Come Dancing dance floor, writes Dave James.
With Halloween Week around the corner, fans were gearing up for another weekend of spooky routines, dazzling costumes and some truly spine-chilling choreography.
Four pairs had already been eliminated, and the race for the 2025 Glitterball Trophy was well and truly underway. But who was leading the pack according to the Strictly Come Dancing betting odds at that stage?
