With Halloween Week around the corner, fans were gearing up for another weekend of spooky routines, dazzling costumes and some truly spine-chilling choreography.

Four pairs had already been eliminated, and the race for the 2025 Glitterball Trophy was well and truly underway. But who was leading the pack according to the Strictly Come Dancing betting odds at that stage?

At the time, George Clarke was the bookies’ favourite to win the series, having impressed both the judges and the public with his surprising dance skills and charisma on the floor. Lewis Cope and Alex Kingston were hot on his heels, both delivering consistently strong performances week after week.

Meanwhile, it was not looking great for Balvinder Sopal, who found herself at the top of the elimination odds once again, meaning she could be the next celebrity to leave the ballroom.
