Swansea to go down? Relegation odds shorten on Martin’s men
It only seems like yesterday that Swansea City were raising plaudits from punters and broadcasters alike from their time in the Premier League but things are amiss at the South Wales club at the moment.
Swansea City have always been fancied to do well in the Championship but there is an air of dispondancy with the ‘Jack Army’ at the moment.
The Swans are now in the Championship and finding things a little tough at the moment.
Steve Cooper left the club after taking the Swans to two consecutive playoffs with the American owners failing to give the club the required investment to push on.
Cooper made his way to Nottingham Forest, taking his assistant Alan Tate with him and we all know how they did, taking Forest from relegation candidates to the champagne glory of Premier League promotion in one season.
Swansea were 12/1 for relegation at the start of the season. In two games tose odds have been slashed in half.

Russell Martin came in from the MK Dons in August 2021 with his brand of passing football and the club has given him plenty of time to bed in with his style of play.
Martin’s brand of passing football, almost to the point of doing it with no plan is starting to wear thin with supporters and are catching the eye of punters looking for a bit of value in the relegation odds markets.
Topping the passing stats does not win football matches as any Swans fan will tell you and there may be a change of manager on the way if things do not pick up drastically.
A 0-3 home defeat to Blackburn at the Swansea.com stadium put to bed any optimism Swans fans may have had going into the season.
Even the return of the talismatic Joe Allen to the club has not lifted spirits.
Losing a game yes is difficult, but the manner of the Swans defeat left many supporters scratching their heads.
