Strictly Come Dancing – Former Emmerdale Star favourite for glory in Blackpool

It’s the big one. The weekend all Strictly Come Dancing fans look forward to the most – Blackpool and its famous Tower Ballroom.

A weekend full of jiving, waltzing, tango-ing and of course plenty of glitz and glamour. It’s the weekend all contestants have their eyes on at the start of the competition. It’s steeped in tradition, history and class.

It’s the pinnacle of ballroom dancing. And as always, it will be a mega show. One which Mike Bushall won’t be involved in. That’s after the BBC presenter and partner Katya Jones’s Cinderella story finally came to an end on Sunday.

The duo were eventually sent packing after failing to impress the judges in their fourth dance off in as many weeks.

That means seven couples remain with five shows to go. But only one celebrity will get their hands on the famous glitter ball and if the betting is anything to go by then Kelvin Fletcher is the man to beat.

The former Emmerdale actor is as short as 4/7 to win outright, can anyone stop him?

Well, Karim Zeroual might. 3/1 to get his hands on the coveted trophy, Karim and partner Amy smashed the quickstep on last week’s show and head to Blackpool full of confidence.

Previously known for her silky footwork on the footy pitch and top class punditry Alex Scott is 2/1 to be the top female on this year’s show and 11/1 to win outright. So too is Saffron Barker.

Actress Emma Barton has split opinion amongst the judging panel, but she’s getting better with every dance and is 14/1 to win the show.

Michelle Visage found herself in the dance off last weekend, but was saved by all four judges to ensure her spot at Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

The American singer is 18/1 to win. Which leaves Chris Ramsey as the 80/1 outsider, in other words he doesn’t have a sniff at victory, sorry mate.
