Bunting has reached the semi-final for the first time having been the underdog in each of his last three wins against James Wade, Ryan Searle and Krzysztof Ratajski.

This is Price’s second successive semi-final, meanwhile, with “The Iceman” looking to reach the final for the first time.

He’s the 2/7 favourite to do so, with another Bunting upset 13/5.

There is very little separating the pair in terms of statistics in this tournament, with Price’s average 96.74 and Bunting’s 96.73. Price has hit one more 180 than his forthcoming opponent (27 to 26), with his checkout percentage also better at 42.54%.

However, “The Bullet” Bunting’s doubles were simply immense against Ratajski, with his 170 checkout one of the highlights of the tournament so far.

Price was extremely edgy against Daryl Gurney, too, so I can definitely see this being a closer contest than the bookmakers appear to be anticipating.

It’s best-of-11 sets now, of course, which makes correct score betting extremely difficult. If you fancy it to go the distance, 6-5 to Price is 8/1, with 6-5 to Bunting 10/1.

Sky Bet make the most likely outcome 6-2 to Price at 9/2.
