Spain v Portugal Live Streaming : How to watch TV channel broadcast

The UEFA Nations League returns for its second edition this week, with the first games of the new campaign taking place on Thursday. One of the standout fixtures is the Group 3 clash between Spain and Portugal, two of the giants of international football.

This will be the first time that these two sides have met in the Nations League, though they are familiar foes from previous editions of the European Championship and World Cup.

How to watch the Nations League on TV

Both teams will be looking to get off to a winning start in the competition, which is relatively new but has already proved to be a popular addition to the international football calendar.

Spain will be favourites to win this game, but Portugal will not be easy opponents. The two sides last met in a friendly back in September 2018, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Ways to get video highlights of the match

This promises to be an exciting game between two of the best teams in Europe, and you can catch all the action live on television or via streaming services.

Spain and Portugal are set to do battle in at the Estadio Benito Villamarin which is located in Seville.

Both teams will be looking to use the game as preparation for the 2022 World Cup, which is due to take place in Qatar later that year.

Is the match on reddit?

No. the match is not being broadcast on reddit unfortunately. Spain will be looking to get revenge on Portugal after they were knocked out of Euro 2016 by their Iberian neighbours in the round of 16.

Portugal went on to reach the final of that tournament, eventually losing to France.

This will be the first time that these two teams have met since that fateful day in 2016, and both sides will be keen to come out on top.

Spain are currently ranked as the second best team in the world by FIFA, while Portugal are ranked fourth. However, Portugal are the reigning European champions after they won Euro 2020 last year.

Team news wise, Spain will be without star man Sergio Ramos who is suspended for the game. Portugal are also expected to be without Cristiano Ronaldo, who is yet to return to action after testing positive for COVID-19.

The match is due to kick-off at 7:45 PM UK time

What is the match prediction?

Although both teams have underwhelming records in World Cup competitions, Spain and Portugal always bring an exciting match when they face off against each other.

In their most recent meeting in November of last year, Spain won 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Valencia striker Rodrigo.

This Thursday, the two teams will meet again in Lisbon for a friendly match, and there are sure to be plenty of fireworks on display. For Spain, Alvaro Morata will be the one to watch. The Juventus striker has been in good form lately, scoring three goals in his last three appearances for the national team.

What is the best bet for the match?

Portugal will look to Cristiano Ronaldo to provide the spark in attack.

The Manchester United striker has nine goals in his last 10 international matches and will be a handful for the Spanish defence.

With both teams possessing dynamic attacking players, Thursday’s match is shaping up to be an exciting one.

Bet365 has priced Spain at 11/10 to win, while Portugal are priced at 13/5

What is the team form?

Spain will be looking to build on their strong form from the past year when they compete in this year’s Nations League.

Spain form

They have generally been in good form, winning seven of their last eight matches. Spain have been especially strong at home, winning their last four matches in front of their fans.

They will be looking to carry this momentum into the new tournament and hopefully go one step further than they did last year.

With a tough group ahead of them, Spain will need to be at their best if they want to claim the Nations League title and get off to a decent start, especially at home.

Portugal Form Guide

Portugal are in good form at the moment, winning eight of their last 10 matches. They beat North Macedonia 2-0 in their last fixture in March and have only lost once in their last five away matches.

Portugal will be looking to continue their good form when they take on Spain in their next match. Fernando Santos’s men will be hoping to get a win under their belt and keep up the good work on their recent travels.

They will be looking to make it four wins out of six on their travels when they take on Republic of Ireland in their next away fixture.
