Southampton v Leicester – Is there a live stream from St Marys Stadium?
Midweek Premier League continues this Wednesday night with another bumper evening of fixtures. This time up its Southampton FC taking on Leicester from St Marys Stadium.
Brendan Rogers’s Leicester City have recovered somewhat after a tricky spell a few weeks back where they were given a football masterclass in defeats to Chelsea and Arsenal at home. A 4-2 home win over Watford last time out will have boosted confidence throughout the club.
The return of form of James Maddison and Jamie Vardy, who both starred in the Watford match will have a raised a smile amongst supporters who have been starved of a few goals the last month.
The Foxes are ideally placed in the table to make a Europa League move but a defeat tonight would certainly put the dampeners on things.
Where can I watch a live stream of the game?
The Southampton v Leicester game is being live streamed across the Amazon Prime network tonight, as well as all the other fixtures. If you have an Amazon Prime membership you should be able to watch all the games, which are broadcast in high quality HD.
You can watch the game via your smart tv, or watch via your mobile phone device or ipad – you simply need to login to your Amazon Prime account to watch the fixtures.
Southampton are now only five positions off the bottom in the Premier League and their return of fourteen points is not exactly inspiring to fans. Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side have suffered back to back defeats – a 4-0 loss to a firing Liverpool side which is no surprise.
A 2-1 away loss to Norwich will have really raised anxiety levels for the South coast club. A return to home and St Marys may be just what is needed at the moment, provided they can get a result against Leicester of course.
Southampton are favourites to take all three points in this one, but now may be the time to back the Leicester away win at 7/4. With Vardy and Maddison looking sharp and back to their best they may simply be the difference between the two sides tonight.
