Second Test : England v South Africa live stream from Old Trafford
England are back at Old Trafford as the second test gets underway with play due to start on 11am BST on 25th August 2022.
After their emphatic victory at Lords, winning by an innings, South Africa will look to keep the momentum going, especially with their four pace attack of Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada all wearing down England’s brittle batting.
The overcast conditions and a green pitch in Manchester look ideal for the pace bowlers and there should be plenty of movement and help.
England will be looking to level the 3 match series after that humiliating defeat at Lords
South Africa won the toss this morning and are currently batting in the 1st innings.

All eyes will be South African paceman Kagiso Rabada. The seamer took a five wicket haul in the first test and will no doubt be looking for wickets.
Zak Crawley will again come under pressure at the top of England’s batting order with the Kent player not scoring more than 50 in each of his last 14 innings.
South Africa have not lost a test match in their last four games, and will be looking to make that five at Old Trafford – a good start is therefore vital for the Springboks.
England will need to improve, with the Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes era of English cricket coming crashing down with a bump after the success against New Zealand and India previously.
