What is Liverpool’s form?

Liverpool are coming off back-to-back wins, they’ve enjoyed some fine form recently, with six wins and two in their last eight matches in all competitions as Klopp looks to come up with a winning combination to take into the new Premier League campaign.

Likewise, Red Bull Salzburg have had similar results with Liverpool; they have five wins and two losses in their last seven games.

It’s important to note that these sides have met three times in the last three years, and Liverpool have two wins and a draw in those encounters.

Liverpool found the net seven times in their last two games alone; they’ve been very consistent when it comes to scoring goals, having scored in 19 of their last 22 games.

Conversely, although Liverpool did not concede in their last two games, they conceded in four consecutive games prior to that so the Austrians may fancy their chances in front of goal.

What is the form of Salzburg?

In like manner, Red Bull Salzburg have scored and conceded a lot of goals; they found the net in all of their last 21 games, whilst conceding in six of their last eight matches. Considering both teams scored in six of Salzburg’s last eight games, we should expect goals at both ends.

We have already established that these teams have scored and conceded goals regularly; because of this, their matches have mostly been high-scoring games.

All of Red Bull Salzburg’s last seven games saw at least three goals scored. Likewise, Liverpool have been involved in a few high-scoring games; as four of their last six games went above the 2.5 goal line.

Additionally, these teams have met three times, and they scored a total of 13 goals in those three games. On that note, this will likely be a high-scoring affair.
