Is Reading v Preston on TV?

Reading v Preston is not on tv tonight but can be watched live from the Madjeski Stadium in play via Bet365.

The Royals have lost one and drawn one, conceding just six times.

Veljko Paunovic’s side boast a four-point gap at the top, with Swansea sitting second on 18 points.

Preston meanwhile occupy 16th spot, having won just three times this season. Alex Neil’s outfit have drawn one and lost their other five encounters in the campaign.

But Wednesday night represents another opportunity to pick up points as they travel to Madejski Stadium.

The hosts do, however, go into the game on the back of their only loss so far. They suffered a shock 3-2 defeat at Coventry on Friday night.

But Preston also picked up a loss in their most recent fixture, losing 2-1 at home to Birmingham on Saturday.

Both sides will, therefore, be keen to bounce back in style under the lights on Wednesday.

The Royals go into the game as favorites at 8/5, with the visitors available at 21/10 to cause an upset.

A draw can be backed at 11/5.

Reading’s Lucas Joao has been in fine form in the campaign. He boasts six goals and three assists from his eight matches.

He is currently 11/2 to score first on Wednesday.

His tea-mate Yakou Meite has also been hitting the net regularly this campaign. The attacker has four goals in seven games, and can be backed at 6/1 to open the scoring.

George Puscas is currently available at 13/2.

But Preston’s main men will also be keen to get on the scoresheet. Scott Sinclair has four goals for the campaign, and is available at 17/2 to score the first goal of the game.

The Royals certainly got the better of Preston last season, winning both games and keeping clean sheets in each.

They won 1-0 in this fixture last time out, and picked up a 2-0 victory at Deepdale in the reverse encounter.

A third successive clean sheet for Reading in this fixture can be backed at 2/1.
