Brentford have the chance to go to the top of the Championship table when they take on QPR on Wednesday evening.

How to get QPR v Brentford Live Stream

Thomas Frank’s outfit sit on 57 points from their 29 games, a point behind the Canaries. They’ve won 16 games, and are the competition’s highest scorers with 55 goals.

The second-placed side were enjoying a winning run when it all came to an abrupt end against Barnsley on Sunday. They were shocked at Brentford Community Stadium, with the visitors winning the match 2-0.

Prior to that, it was four wins in four for the Bees, which began with a 7-2 thrashing of Wycombe. That was followed up with wins over Bristol City, Middlesbrough and Reading. The results leave them fourth in the Championship form table for the last six games.

Mark Warburton’s side meanwhile are also enjoying a strong run in recent weeks. The Rs have four wins and one loss in their last five matches. The most recent was a 1-0 victory at home to Blackburn on Saturday, which came after an impressive 2-1 win at high-flying Watford.

But the London club remain 18th in the current league table despite the positive string of results.

A Brentford win on Wednesday evening is currently available at 19/20. A draw can be backed at 14/5.

It’s currently 33/10 for QPR to mastermind a shock result and pick up all three points.

But to do that, they will have to keep quiet Brentford striker Ivan Toney. The former Newcastle man is having an extraordinary season in front of goal, and currently sits on 23 goals for the campaign.

Toney can be backed at 17/5 to net the first goal of the game. His team-mates Marcus Forss and Bryan Mbeumo have been given odds of 6/1 and 7/1 respectively.

Midfielder Sergi Canos sits on six for the campaign, and is available at 17/2 to score the game’s opening goal.

QPR attacking duo Charlie Austin and Lyndon Dykes can be backed at 7/1 and 15/2 respectively.
