Next Manager odds

Who will be the next manager of different football clubs? Here we take a look at the next manager odds of Manchester Utd, as well as the next Everton Manager betting odds.  Who will take over in the hot seat for both these prestigious Premier League clubs?

Ralf Rangnick might be just a few months into his Manchester United job, but he has already fallen down the pecking order when it comes to being a favourite for the next Man Utd manager.

A return of just three wins from the last seven matches has seen the honeymoon period quickly pass away for the German, who replaced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer back in November.

There is already plenty of speculation and interest from United in top managers from across Europe. Here is a list of the top three candidates who could be the next Man Utd manager odds.

Next Man Utd Manager Mauricio Pochettino – 6/4

Mauricio Pochettino was one of the front-runners for the job when Jose Mourinho was sacked from the United dugout in 2018.

Back then, Pochettino was flying high with Spurs and had even made the club into a title challenger in the Premier League against all the odds.

However, United went for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a move that did not do not very well.

Even before leaving Spurs for PSG, Pochettino was linked with a move to Old Trafford.

This time around, Pochettino may very well be heading to Manchester even if PSG play hardball over negotiations, as the 48-year-old has a contract with the French club until the summer of 2023.

Next Man Utd Manager Ralf Rangnick – 5/2

Ralf Rangnick was a surprise appointment despite having had limited success throughout his managerial career.

It did not take long for the German to see an end to his honeymoon period. The results and performances have not been great in the initial few matches since taking over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United have had to rely on narrow wins over struggling teams to remain close to the top four spots. Rangnick has done well behind the scenes and it is very likely that the 63-year-old may be set for a backstage job once a permanent boss arrives.

Next Man Utd Manager Brendan Rodgers – 11/2

Brendan Rodgers has been able to do a very good job with Leicester City, who are not far away from United in the league table despite a limited budget.

However, the possibility of Rodgers stepping into the United dugout appeared to be remote largely because of his Liverpool connections.

Rafa Benitez’ failed spell with Everton once again highlights the risk involved in appointing a manager from a rival club. Rodgers would have his work cut out from day one and that is something that United cannot afford at this moment.
