They are, however, ahead of QPR, who are three points behind them in 18th. Mark Warburton’s side also have four wins, with five draws and seven defeats.
QPR do at least have a win in their last six matches, something which Millwall do not have. Gary Rowett’s men have drawn four and lost two of their previous six.
And their two defeats have come in their last two games. The Lions lost 2-1 at Blackburn last week, before losing 1-0 at home to struggling Derby on Saturday.
QPR also lost at the weekend, with Huddersfield condemning Rowett’s outfit to yet another defeat. They have now lost their last three league matches.
Both teams could, therefore, do with a win under the lights on Tuesday evening.
A home victory can be backed at 22/19.
A win for the Rs is currently available at 11/4.
And a draw has been given odds of 12/5.
The visitors will certainly be looking at last season’s meetings for some inspiration ahead of their trip to The Den. They won both fixtures in the previous Championship campaign.
A Nakhi Wells double helped them to a 2-1 win there last time out, with the Rs then winning 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller at Loftus Road.
Jed Wallace has undoubtedly been the brightest spark under Rowett this season. He has five goals and two assists to his name.
He is joined on five goals by QPR summer signing Lyndon Dykes. Both will be eager to make their mark on Tuesday.
Wallace can be backed at 7/1 to score the opening goal of the game, with Dykes available at 13/2.
Millwall defender Shaun Hutchinson will also be keen to extend his scoring run in this fixture. The defender netted on both occasions last time out.
He has been given odds of 16/1 to score the first goal of the game.
