It’s that time of year again where love is in the air…or at least on our screens.

Love Island is back for its ninth season in the UK on Monday 6th June and this time it’s bigger and better than ever. With an extended 10-week format, there’s sure to be plenty of drama, tears and, of course, love.

Gemma Owen is the 11/4 favourite with William Hill, while Tashi Gouri is at 3/1. Longer odds winners are Paige Thorne at 4/1, Indiyah Polack at 6/1 and Amber Beckford at 10/1

For those people who have been siting under a rock for the last few years the aim is to match up with other celebs and progress through rounds of eliminations to the final with either your current partner or any bombshells (new contestants) that catch your eye along the way.

Some of the eliminations and more importantly who wins are determined by the public via app voting, so perception outside the villa is hugely important.

The love island odds for 2022 have already been released and it’s Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma who is currently in pole position to be crowned this year’s winner.

She is closely followed by Tashi Gouri from London and Paige from Essex.

So, if you’re looking for a summer fling or just some entertainment to escape the mundane reality of life, then make sure you tune in to Love Island on Monday 6th June at 9pm on ITV2.

What are the odds on Gemma winning?

Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma is one of the Love Island 2022 contestants, and she’s a favourite to win the show.

Gemma, 19, who owns her own company and has taken her fathers interest in horses is taking all the money at the moment. The daughter of the ex England star is the bookimakers favourite to win the series with William Hill giving odds of 11/4.

For the men, Welsh masters student Liam Llewellyn has been given odds of around 5/2 across bookmakers in the UK, which suggests that the Welsh connections in the Villa will be coupling up when they arrive.

Of course we’ll have to wait and see.

Ronan Keating daughter also involved?

Ladbrokes are slashing the odds on Gemma Collins being a contestant on the upcoming series of Love Island.

The Only Way Is Essex star, who has made no secret of her desire to find love on the popular reality show, is now just 10/1 to enter the villa when the new series kicks off later this month.

Collins isn’t the only famous daughter of a celebrity who could be appearing on this year’s show, as Ronan Keating’s daughter Missy is also being talked about as one of the contestants this year.

Given her history of stirring up drama on TOWIE, it’s safe to say that Collins would be sure to shake things up if she did end up appearing on Love Island.

However, it remains to be seen whether or not she will actually take part in the show.
