Mares Hurdle tips from twitter
The Cheltenham Festival is just about upon us as we take a look at the views from twitter as to who will win the Mares Hurdle.
The Mares Hurdle takes place at 4.10 at the Cheltenham Festival and once again it looks a tough race to predict.
The current betting suggests it will be four horses who will be battling it out for favouritsm.
Maries Rock 5/2
Honeysuckle 4/1
Epatante 11/2
Brandy Love 11/2
A respected Cheltenham tipster, Pete @riskforrwards suggest that you should do your research if backing favourites in the market.
Pete comments: “”Some people won’t back in them, some will only be back them.
They are just another horse in the race don’t be put off because they are short if you really like them.
The markets for the festival have been developed by the leading bookmakers over the last 12 months so if they are favourites it is because right now, they look like the best horse on paper.
Your job is to work out if they are the best horse and are they a price you want to take.”
Pete also suggests that you shouldn’t jump in and back a horse suggested by a racing pundit on television.
“I can guarantee you firstly they will change their wording and secondly, they will be back in the books to check they have studied the race hard enough”
If your own money isn’t on a selection then its very easy to throw a horse out to the general public.
Pete comments:
“Plenty of journalists are very good at their job but aren’t parting with cash they just use those phrases without realising.
For me never trust or back someone’s opinion that isn’t putting his or her own money down.”
