Man Utd v West Ham Odds : Hammers offer FA Cup appeal

Manchester Utd take on West Ham Utd in the FA Cup Fifth round tonight with both sides looking to put a disappointing week of form behind them.
United had been on a decent run of form this month, with even murmurings of the Red Devils mounting a significant assault on the Premier League title but only one win their last four, albeit a 9-0 thrashing of Southampton has seen Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side slip to five points behind Manchester City having played a game more.
A 96th minute Dominic Calvert-Lewin equaliser will have done nothing for confidence issues, the Everton striker dealing a heavy blow to United’s title aspirations.
As for West Ham, David Moyes has finally started to get the best out of his side, with the Hammers now up to sixth in the table and winning five of their last seven in the Premier League.
Michael Antonio has returned to the side following a lengthy spell on the sidelines and has looked a threat up top, while Czech midfielder Tomas Soucek has been an inspiration. Jesse Lingard, who won’t feature tonight has also impressed since arriving on loan.
Both have been key to the upturn in fortunes for the Hammers and could be pivotal in the match tonight, if they start.
Looking at the markets for this one, Manchester Utd are predictably the favourites to progress to the next round and can be backed at around 4/7 – A price which doesn’t exactly jump out at us considering West Ham’s recent efforts.
David Moyes side can be backed at 4/1 to beat United at the Theatre of Dreams, and there’s little doubt that the former Manchester Utd will want to get one over on his previous employees.
The draw is available at 3/1.
This one could go either way, but its difficult to ignore that 4/1 on offer on the away win.
