Norwich boss Daniel Farke will be hoping he can get back to winning ways as his Canaries side take on fellow Championship side Luton Town in the EFL Carabao Cup this afternoon.

After a disastrous Premier League campaign last season, which saw his side relegated to the second tier of English football, all involved at the East Anglia club will be hoping for a better season and a return to the top flight as the first their first competitive fixture arrives this afternoon.

Luton themselves will be hoping of a better season after surviving the Championship relegation trapdoor by only three points. The Hatters finished in an unimpressive 19th place in the division but boss Nathan Jones should be optimistic coming into this one.

The Hatters have had a decent pre season, winning both their warm up games 3-0 against Wealdstone and Northampton respectively.

Where & When is Luton v Norwich being played?

the match is being played at Kenilworth Road Luton. Kick off time is at 15:00.

This game should be good marker for both sides, with the Championship season now less than a fortnight away.

Norwich themselves will be looking to come through the game unscathed, and their pre season form looks even better, going undefeated in both friendlies against German side Darmstadt while also winning their previous friendlies against SG Dynamo Dresden, Verl & the MK Dons without conceding a single goal.

Both sides will be playing with threadbare squads, with Norwich themselves missing a total of 17 players from their first team squad due to international commitments.

The away side Norwich are the favourites at 8/5, while the Luton home win can be backed at 31/20. The stalemate is available at around 27/10.
