Liverpool attacking options: Will ‘Reds move for Willian’ this summer?
The future of football on the pitch remains in doubt, but the rumours continue to circulate off it.
Earlier in the week, Philippe Coutinho was being linked with a move to Chelsea. And Timo Werner has since been touted for a move to Liverpool.
Both moves from the Bundesliga to England have dominated the headlines.
There is, however, one switch that has perhaps gone under the radar. And that involves Chelsea’s Willian. The Brazilian is being rumoured with a move to Anfield.

The Reds undoubtedly need some positive news. They’ve been worrying about the situation of the current Premier League campaign since all action was suspended last month.
Other clubs are also anxious, but Jurgen Klopp’s men undoubtedly have more on the line than any other side.
The Eredivisie in the Netherlands has recently been cancelled. And that is striking fear across Europe, as many leagues could follow suit. But fortunately the Bundesliga have provided some hopeful news in that it could return next month.
But in England, it remains a challenging time up and down the country.
Liverpool sat top of the league before all football was brought to a halt. The Reds have a 22-point gap over rivals Manchester City.
It’s been an astonishing season in every aspect. Klopp’s side have won 27 of their 29 games, drawing one and losing one.
And they will be looking to get stronger this summer, regardless of the outcome of the season.
In terms of outgoings, many top players have been linked with moves away. It’s a worrying issue for the German boss. The likes of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are reportedly being watched by Real Madrid and Bayern Munich respectively.
The Merseyside outfit will be keen to keep hold of their stars. But if they cannot keep them at Anfield, alternatives will definitely be considered.
And one fresh alternative is Willian. But the winger could also just as easily venture in a different direction.
The Brazilian is currently 4/1 to move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
He can be backed at 5/1 to join Liverpool, and 6/1 to join Arsenal.
The 31-year-old is available at 7/1 to switch to either Manchester United or Juventus. It’s currently 12/1 for Willian to sign for Barcelona, and 16/1 for AC Milan or Borussia Dortmund.
And if that transfer doesn’t work out for Liverpool, they certainly have their eye on other wingers. They’ll be looking to improve their squad depth going into another campaign.
One potential recruit is Real Betis attacker Nabil Fekir. He is currently 14/1 to move to Anfield in the coming months.
Bayer Leverkusen youngster Kai Havertz is another possibility. The versatile 20-year-old is 6/1 to join the Reds this summer.
His fellow Bundesliga attacker Jadon Sancho is 10/1. And Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser has been given odds of 6/1.
