Leeds Utd looking for three points at Birmingham City
Birmingham City started off the new Championship season with a steady 1-1 draw on the south coast of Wales against Swansea City.
The buzz amplified at St Andrew’s last week when NFL superstar Tom Brady took a minority stake, spearheading a new advisory board.

There was no shortage of drama over at Leeds United either.
Crysencio Summerville clinched a last-gasp equalizer in the 95th minute, sealing a 2-2 tie against Cardiff City in what marked Daniel Farke’s debut home match at the helm.
Leeds had plenty of possession during the game but couldn’t break down a resolute Cardiff defence until that equaliser late on.
Additionally, Leeds’ skipper Liam Cooper could be sidelined for as long as two months after injuring his plantar fascia tendon during the match against the South Wales side.
Summerville also suffered a groin injury, which might keep him off the pitch for about three weeks.
Daniel Farke might also give Joe Rodon, Leeds United’s imminent new signing, a starting role in their upcoming Championship game against Birmingham City on Saturday.
The Lilywhites secured loan agreement for Tottenham Hotspur’s defender Joe Rodon.
His potential inclusion seems timely given captain Liam Cooper’s recent injury against Cardiff.
While Ethan Ampadu took up the center-back role in Leeds’ EFL Cup match against Shrewsbury Town, it’s anticipated that Rodon might step directly into the lineup, replacing the injured Cooper, provided his transfer is finalized promptly.
He is expected to join forces with Pascal Struijk, who scored the first goal against Shrewsbury, and will be flanked by full-backs Sam Byram and Luke Ayling.
Although Ayling is likely to retain his position from the first game, Farke might choose to start Byram over Leo Hjelde.
The young Norwegian has been substituted at halftime in both of Leeds’ matches this season, leading to speculation that Farke may want the new recruit to play the full duration in the Championship and sideline the 19-year-old.
