Ladbrokes Free Bets – Is the Magic Sign still attracting punters?

Published

on

Founded in 1886 Ladbrokes are one of the UK’s longest standing betting firms. For over 100 years they’ve been at the forefront of sports betting providing punters with an unrivalled betting experience both online and on the high street.

The firm started as commission agents for horses trained at Warwick’s Ladbrokes Hall, which the company would later take its name from. For decades Ladbrokes bookmakers could be found at race courses up and down the country, before finally hitting the high street in 1961 following the legislation of betting shops.

Fast forward to 1993 and the Ladbrokes estate was worth over £1billion. In 1998 the company acquired over 300 Coral shops and would later be known as Ladbrokes Coral Group, with both facias operating separately.

Do Ladbrokes still offer free bets?

Like all betting firms Ladbrokes offer punters a high quality set service with frequent promotions, free bets and more. Many of which we’ve previewed below.

What are the free bets/bonus promo codes with Ladbrokes?

Providing punters with more flexibility and choice Ladbrokes offer two sign up offers, which both include receiving free bets for depositing and staking a set amount. Both promotions require using a promo code during the registration period otherwise you will not be eligible for the free bets.

Below are the two offers currently available to new customers at the time of writing.

Bet £5 Get £20 using promo code 20FREE

For just a £5 stake new Ladbrokes customers could receive £20 in free bets. Providing you’re  a new Ladbrokes customer, over the age of 18 and live in the UK or Republic of Ireland then you should qualify for the promotion.

To claim the free bets simply open a new Ladbrokes account, input all the relevant details and, when asked, use promo code 20FREE. It is imperative you remember to add the promo code, otherwise you will not qualify for the sign up offer and there will be no way to claim the free bets once your account has been created.

Once you’re set up and ready to go deposit at least £5 into your account and place a qualifying bet.

A qualifying bet must be at odds of 1/2 or greater, be placed on a sportsbook market and must be placed within 14 days of opening your account.

Cashed out bets or bets which for some reason are void will not qualify for the offer. If your qualifying bet is an accumulator then each selection must be of 1/2 odds or greater.

Free bets will be credited as soon as you make a qualifying bet. For this promotion you will receive 4 x £5 free bets.

Bet £10 Get £30 using promo code G30

Ladbrokes’ bet £10 get £30 in free bets is similar to the offer discussed above, however punters must use a different code, G30, when creating an account.

Free bets will be credited as 3 x £10 free bets and can be used on all sportsbook markets.

Deposits made via Moneybookers, Paypal, Paysafe, Neteller or Skrill will not count towards both the Bet £5 Get £20 or Bet £10 get £30 welcome offers. Only deposits made by debit or credit cards will be eligible for the promotions.

How long do Ladbrokes free bets last?

Free bets received from both sign up offers will be valid for just seven days after being credited. Any bets not used in this period of time will be wiped from your account, so make sure you use them before it is too late.

How do you use your Ladbrokes free bet?

Free bets will be credited as either 4 x £5 free bets or 3 x £10 free bets depending on which promotion you opted for.

To use a free bet simply add your selections to your bet slip like normal. Once you’re happy with your bet tap the bet slip and input your stake. Instead of clicking place bet like normal, select the free bet you’d like to use. By doing this the bet will be placed using free bets rather than real funds from your wallet.

Can I withdraw my Ladbrokes free bet?

Unfortunately free bets can not be withdrawn. Instead they must be used within seven days of being credited. Any winnings from free bets can be withdrawn immediately. However, it is worth noting, as with all free bet offers your original free bet stake will not be included in any winnings.

To withdraw funds from your account simply tap the deposit/withdraw button on your account, tap withdraw and then follow the on screen instructions. You’ll need to input the amount you want to withdraw and your account password. Depending on your withdrawal method, money will be in your account within five working days.

Ladbrokes Football – how do I bet on the football at Ladbrokes?

For decades Ladbrokes have had some form of involvement in the world of football. Whether it’s sponsoring Scotland’s top divisions, the football pools or providing punters with an unrivalled football betting service, they’ve been right in the thick of it for years.

Today, Ladbrokes offer an extensive football betting service providing punters with hundreds of football markets both pre-match and in-play on some of the biggest games in world football.

To bet on football via the Ladbrokes website or mobile app simply tap the football tab at the top of your screen. From here you’ll see subcategories including matches, in-play, acca tips and competitions. The matches page shows all up and coming fixtures, usually ordered by popularity.

From here you’ll then be able to go into individual matches to access and bet on over 100 markets. To back a market simply tap on the odds, then head over to your bet slip, input your stake and press bet now.

The acca tab will let you build an accumulator in seconds.

Up and coming fixtures will be displayed and ordered by popularity. To place a bet simply tap on the odds of the selections you want to choose and they’ll be automatically added to your bet slip. Once you’re happy, tap the bet slip in the top right corner of the page and place your bet. The odds will be displayed at the bottom of the page and you can remove any selections you no longer want to back before placing your bet.

The in-play tab shows live betting for games and events that have already started.

Betting and prices are updated in real time, so when something significant happens in a game like a goal or a red card then betting will be suspended. The market will reopen once the odds have been recalculated. You can back in-play multiples, accas or singles with most pre match markets available.

The competition tab gives you access to specific leagues or competition coupons or markets for ante post betting. To switch from the coupon to the outright betting simply tap the outright tab. Outright markets can be backed as singles or included in multiples depending on your preferences.

Ladbrokes Football coupon – which betting markets can you bet on?

Providing punters with a thorough football betting service Ladbrokes offer hundreds of markets both pre-match and in-play. Some of the different markets available include both teams to score, BTTS and match result, first/last/anytime Goalscorer, under/over total of goals, under/over total of corners, player to score and win and many more.

More obscure markets include both teams to score in the first half, win from behind, highest scoring half and won both halves.

The edit my acca feature lets you do exactly what it says on the tin. Accumulators can be edited once they’ve been placed, so if you’ve made a mistake or changed your mind you can remove and add selections, without cashing out and replacing the bet. The odds will update automatically depending on what changes you make to your bet.

Ladbrokes Horse Racing – how do I bet on the horses at Ladbrokes?

Like football Ladbrokes offer an extensive horse racing betting service. Tap the horse racing logo at the top of the page, from here you’ll be able to see race cards for each meeting across the next two days, plus the tote placepot results today.. Odds for all runners and riders can be viewed by clicking the time of the race. Like football, to back a horse simply tap the odds and then head over to your bet slip and complete the process.

From the horse racing landing page you’ll also be able to tap on the next races tab, which shows the next 10 up and coming races from around the world. The top three horses in the market are displayed for each race, to see the rest of the market tap see more.

Antepost horse racing bets can be placed via the future tab. Here you’ll find markers for all up and coming races like the Gold Cup and Grand National.

Other sports and markets

Away from the more popular sports like football, horse racing and golf Ladbrokes offer an array of sports and events to bet on.

From esports like Call Of Duty and League of Legends to Rugby League and Speedway Ladbrokes offer extensive markets for all sports no matter how niche. All sports can be found in the a-z tab at the top of the page.

What is Ladbrokes #getaprice?

‘You pick it, we price it.’ That’s the slogan Ladbrokes use for their #getaprice feature. Combining match markets and player stats #getaprice lets you create your very own, unique football bets.

So for example if you fancy Spurs to beat Liverpool in the champions league final, Andy Robertson to get an assist, Son to be booked and both teams to score then tweet Ladbrokes your request using the hashtag and their traders will price it up for you. They’ll get back to you with a price and a link direct to the market. If you’re happy with the price and want to back your request, follow the link and place a bet on your selection like a normal bet.

#Getaprice requests that have already been priced up can be found in specific match markets or on the dedicated #getaprice coupon, perfect if you’re in need of some bet inspiration.

Punters can combine a number of popular markets like match result, both teams to score, first Goalscorer, under/over goals, booking points and under/over corners whilst also including more obscure, player stats like number of tackles, number of passes and shots on target.

#Getaprice is available on all major leagues across Europe, the Europa League, Champions League and all major international tournaments/qualifying matches.

Bets will be void and your stake returned should a player you’ve selected not feature in the game.

Ladbrokes Cash out

Cash out is available on selected markets across numerous sports on the Ladbrokes website and mobile app. Markets which qualify for this feature are highlighted by the cash out logo on the drop down menu. Both singles and multiples can be cashed out providing no selections are suspended, if they are then cash out will not be available.

To cash out a bet head over to your open bets. Here you’ll be able to see the cash out button for bets eligible for the feature. Returns will be determined by already settled results or current in-play scores. If you’re happy with the amount being offered to cash out, tap the button and then press confirm. Your funds will be added to your wallet almost instantly.

Extra place betting at Ladbrokes

Ladbrokes offer extra places on selected horse races on a daily basis. Different meetings and races will be selected each day providing punters with more value.

For example with Ladbrokes’ extra place promotion, punters betting on the 15:05 at Brighton on Tuesday 21st May would have been paid out at four places rather than the original 3.

Unfortunately Ladbrokes does not offer a card service such as a Coral connect card.. Each way bet returns would still be 1/5 of the original odds unless stated otherwise.

To qualify for the offer simply place an each way bet on one of the selected races that day. If your selection finishes in the extra place then your bet will be paid out as a winner like normal.

The promotion will be invalid and standard place terms will apply should minimum runners  not be met. The extra place only applies to each way bets.

Best odds guaranteed

Like all major online betting firms Ladbrokes offer Best Odds Guaranteed on all UK and Irish horse racing. So if you take a price and the SP returns bigger than when you backed your selection, then you’ll be paid out at the bigger price.

For example if you backed a horse at 3/1 and it wins with an SP of 4/1, Ladbrokes will pay you out at 4/1 rather than 3/1. Best odds guaranteed applies to board prices, singles and multiples.

BOG is available daily from 9am, so make sure you hold off on placing your bets if you want to qualify for this promotion. Bets placed before this time or will not be eligible for best odds guaranteed. Antepost betting is not included.

Ladbrokes Power boost

Giving you, the punter, more value Ladbrokes offer daily Power Boosts to be used on any pre-match market.

You’ll be credited with a minimum of one Odds boost token per day, which can be used to boost the odds of your selections, and therefore increase your potential returns. Each token expires at midnight, so don’t miss out.

To claim your odds boost tokens simply login to your account each day and head to the My Account tab. Here your Odds Boost tokens will appear outlining what market the token can be used on. You’ll also get a notification on your bet slip it the market/sport you’re betting on qualifies for an Odds Boost.

Whether it’s a single selection or a multiple the Odds Boost token will lengthen the price of each selection in your bet.

Both new and existing customers are entitled to this offer excluding those who have opened a new account and deposited using PayPal, PaySafe or Skrill. Odds Boosts can not be used alongside other price boots or in conjunction with free bets.

The grid at Ladbrokes

Unbeknown to many the Ladbrokes website is more than just an online betting site. The Grid, which can be accessed via the website’s homepage, is a hub for all things football and horse racing. Providing punters with latest news, statistics, previous results and more it is the perfect tool for researching your bets.

Live scores, updated statistics, fixtures, tables and past results can all be viewed in the football stats tab. The Football Buddy will help create your accas for you by picking selections that fit the filters you choose.

Having a bet on the horses? Check out the latest Racing Post form, stats and tips via the Racing Stats tab. You’ll also have access to Tipping Videos which have been put together by the Racing Post.

Live streaming is available on most UK and Irish horse racing providing you’ve placed a bet on the race. Ladbrokes also stream certain football games and numerous tennis tournaments.

Ladbrokes Betting App

Betting can be done on the go with the Ladbrokes mobile app. Available on most iOS and Android devices, the Ladbrokes app provides the same betting service as its website but is cleaner and easier to use. The app has been specifically designed for mobile device use and will make your betting experience ten times better.

You’ll have access to all the same sports and betting markets as well as promotions and free bet offers.

Navigating the app is pretty straightforward. Once you’re logged in all popular sports and markets will be displayed on the home page. If you can’t find the sport you’re looking for tap the a-z button and all available sports will be displayed.

To quickly deposit or withdraw funds head to the my account section. Here you’ll be able to manage your money, view transaction history and see all settled and open bets. You’ll also be able to access all offers and promotions, any free bets or odds boost tokens available will be displayed in your account.

Placing a bet via the app is the exact same as it is on the website. Just tap the odds of each selection then head over to your bet slip and place your bet.
