West Bromwich Albion’s disappointing Championship campaign continued with a goalless draw against Cardiff; although they were the dominant side, the Baggies were unable to capitalize on their chances.
Steve Bruce’s men now have no wins in four league games so far; they’ve drawn three of those games, with one loss.
Due to their slow start, West Brom find themselves in the relegation zone; they are 22nd on the Championship table, with just three points from a possible 12.
On the other hand, Hull City have been one of the best teams in the Championship so far this season; they are unbeaten in four league games, with two wins and two draws.
Because of this, the Tigers are second on the table, just a point behind league leaders Blackburn Rovers. They will aim to keep their unbeaten record in the Championship intact as they face West Brom.
Steve Bruce will not worry too much as regards injuries or suspensions; he has a fully healthy group to choose from, except for Daryl Dike, who sustained a thigh injury in their first league match.
On the other hand, Shota Arveladze will not be able to call upon the services of Brandon Fleming, Dogukan Sinik and Billy Chadwick, who are ruled out due to injuries.
West Bromwich Albion have certainly been a force to be reckoned with at home; they have no losses in their last seven home matches across all competitions, with four wins and three draws.
The point still stands though, the Baggies have not been able to win any of their league games.
With that in mind, Hull City will not be a walk in the park; as the Tigers maintained their unbeaten record in the Championship with a 1:1 draw at Burnley.
Looking at the previous head to head meetings between these sides, the signs point to a West Brom win; however, comparing both teams’ recent form, we would like to side with the visitors on this one.
At 29/20, we believe there’s more value in backing Hull City to win or draw.
