This should be a decent game, and Sunderland do have something to play for, albeit and outside chance.
Even though it looks like another season in the Championship next year, boss Tony Mowbray is in confident mood commenting:
“I think the fans should be excited by the prospect of where the team is going to go” “The recruitment department has to come up with some players that fill any voids that are there in the team.”
Mowbray is not righting of this season either. A few wins and a run could shake the playoff places up, commenting:
“There are no easy games but, no disrespect to the teams coming up because results suggest that matches are all pretty tight, they are all games I think we could win. “
An beaten run of form is a must for Sunderland however:
“And if we can hit a run where we can win some back-to-back games over the next few weeks, it could be a really exciting end to the season – you never know.”
Hull City are pretty much safe themselves from relegation with little to play for so this looks like a decent chance for Sunderland to get maximum points.
The match has a kick off time of 5.30PM and kicks off at Sunderland’s home ground, the Stadium of Light.
