Inter Milan vs. Borussia Dortmund: Can the Germans maintain their unbeaten start to Group F?

Published

on

Borussia Dortmund head to San Siro unbeaten from their two games, beating Czech outfit Slavia Prague 2-0 after a goalless draw at home to Barcelona.

The German side are 21/10 to go to Italy and pick up another win in the tournament, and are 3/1 to keep a third successive clean sheet in the competition.

They sit top of Group F on goal difference, and come up against Inter Milan, who lie bottom at this stage, also on goal difference.

The Italians are yet to win a game in Europe this season despite their fantastic form in Serie A. They’ve drawn at home to Slavia, and came away from Camp Nou with zero points despite going a goal ahead in the second minute.

Antonio Conte’s side are 13/10 to pick up their first win, while a draw is available at 12/5.

It’s 7/2 for an Inter win and both teams to score, and 4/1 for Dortmund and both to score.

The German side topped a similarly difficult group last season, beating Atletico Madrid, Club Brugge and Monaco to top spot. They were, however, beaten by eventual finalists Spurs in the Round of 16, but are well on their way to storming to group stage success once again in this season’s competition.

Inter Milan vs Dortmund Odds – Where is the money going?

Inter meanwhile failed to progress from their challenging group last time out against Spurs, Barcelona and PSV, and will undoubtedly have their sights set on a better finish this time around.

The Italian outfit last won the competition all the way back in 2010, when Jose Mourinho’s side overcame Louis van Gaal’s Bayern Munich in Madrid.

The German side meanwhile are available at 10/1 to win from behind, with Inter available at 8/1 to turn things around on the night.

It’s 11/1 for a goalless draw.

Lucien Favre’s men can be backed at 16/1 to repeat their last Champions League away win – a 2-0 in Prague. And it’s 11/2 for Inter to repeat their last home result – a 1-1 draw with the Czech side.

Achraf Hakimi scored both goals in that important victory for Dortmund. The 20-year-old is 20/1 to score the game’s opener yet again. And the youngster is priced at 7/1 to score anytime.

And it was striker Lautaro Martinez who bagged Inter’s second-minute goal at Camp Nou. The young Argentinian is 5/1 to score the first goal of the game on Wednesday evening.
