I’m A Celebrity 2019: Jacqueline Jossa’s odds to win the show shorten
Caitlyn Jenner is the odds-on favourite to become the seventh contestant to be eliminated from this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on Friday night’s show.
The reality TV star and former Olympic gold medallist has comfortably been one of the more interesting characters of this year’s series, but the bookmakers feel confident her time will come to an end tonight.
Jenner is 8/13 to leave, with TV presenter Kate Garraway 5/2.
Former Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle is 4/1.
Jacqueline Jossa’s odds on winning the show, meanwhile, have significantly shortened.
She has replaced Roman Kemp as the second-favourite behind Andrew Whyment, and is available at 5/1 to be crowned queen of the jungle.
She does fit the profile of certain recent winners, such as Georgia Toffolo and Scarlett Moffatt, having entered camp shy and petrified of almost every moving creature.
But she has visibly become a more confident and rounded individual as the process has worn on, which is generally the type of journey most viewers are endeared by.
However, it appears Whyment will take some stopping, with him becoming king of the jungle as short as 3/10 with some bookmakers.
The duo won last night’s Dingo Dollar challenge together, which featured surprise appearances (albeit on a TV screen) from Jumanji stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Kevin Hart.
Jossa was bowled over by Johnson addressing them as “camp-mates,” with Whyment hilariously responding, “Calm down, Jac, he’s not here, he’s in the TV.”
The camp also managed to win letters from home for each other, with Jossa particularly emotional after hearing from her husband, Dan Osborne.
It was certainly an emotional roller-coaster of a 24 hours for the former Eastenders star, as she also lost one of her closest friends in camp, Myles Stephenson, after the Rak-Su singer became the sixth celebrity to receive the fewest votes and leave the show.
The bookmakers certainly called it once again with that one.
Will they be proved right with Jenner departing tonight?
