Huddersfield face Norwich City this evening from the John Smith’s Stadium with Neil Warnock’s side rooted to the bottom of the Championship table.

Although Huddersfield are battling for their survival Warnock admits that its their opponents who are under achieving, commenting:

“It’s a club that should want to be in the Premiership and I think they’ll be disappointed if they don’t get in the Premiership. Whereas we’re just battling for our lives really to stay at the level we’re at and that’s why I’ve got to make sure we try and give them a good game really.”

It looks like Huddersfield are almost consigned to their relegation (they’ve only won once in their last eight games) but Warnock is still optimistic they can put up a fight:

“But our lads, I’ve seen little flashes in training now where I’ve said to them you can’t worry about the league now, the league’s what it is. We might be miles away from everybody by the time we get to Wednesday.”

As ever the charismatic manager is optimistic:

“Let’s just get on with what we’ve got each game and try and get points out of every game in the run-in”

It should be a tough ask for the home side but David Wagner and Norwich would probably be disappointed not to take all three points tonight.
