How to watch Chelsea v Plymouth FA Cup fixture live on TV

Published

on

Chelsea snapped their four match unbeaten run in the Premier League by beating Tottenham in their last game; they’ve gone from title contenders to top four contenders in just a few weeks. The Blues will look to advance to the fifth round of the FA Cup as Plymouth come visiting.

Just like Chelsea, Plymouth’s last couple of league games have not gone too well; they put an end to their three match winless run by defeating Doncaster last weekend. Plymouth knocked out Championship side Birmingham in the last round of the FA Cup; they’ll need to do a lot better if they hope to defeat a Premiership side.

Live coverage of Chelsea v Plymouth options

There’s a huge difference in quality between these sides; Chelsea are a Premier League team, while Plymouth play in League One. In the last round of the FA Cup, Chelsea played Chesterfield, a team in a lower division, and that game went over 5.5. Also, Plymouth have been involved in a lot of high-scoring games; as all of their last four games went over 2.5, with three of those games going over 3.5.

On that note, we believe that these teams will score up to four goals between them.

Plymouth have been one of the highest scoring teams in League One this season; they’ve been very consistent when it comes to scoring goals.

Plymouth have scored at least one goal in all of their last 11 games across all competitions; as a matter of fact, they’ve scored six goals in their last two games alone.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have conceded their fair share of goals; they’ve conceded in six of their last nine games across all competitions. Considering how consistently Plymouth have scored goals this season, they should be able to score against Chelsea.

Highlights of the Chelsea Plymouth tie can be found on the official channels of both these clubs. Youtube highlights will also appear after the final whiste.Chelsea have a tendency to start slow; and as a result, their games tend to have fewer goals in the first half, especially when they’re playing at home.

There have been more goals in the second half in eight of their last 12 home games.

Similarly, Plymouth’s most recent games have featured more goals in the second half; as three of their last four games had more second half goals. With this in mind, we are making the prediction that there will be more goals in the second half.
