Fulham FC
Fulham Football Club is a professional association football club based in Fulham, London. Founded in 1879, they play in the Championship, the second tier of English football. They are the oldest established football team from London to have played in the Football League.
Luton Town FC
Club captain Scott Cuthbert and vice-captain Alan Sheehan are the only players to have been with the club for over 10 years, having arrived on the same day in July 2007. The pair made a combined total of over 600 appearances for the club. Cuthbert served as Luton’s longest-serving club captain until he announced his retirement from professional football in May 2019, whilst Sheehan departed at the end of his contract on 30 June 2019.
The Hatters play at Kenilworth Road (capacity 10,356), where they have resided since 1905. The club’s nickname is ‘The Town’, although it has also been known as ‘The Hatters’ throughout its history – after all, Luton was once a major centre for hat making and straw plaiting during the 19th century. This is still reflected around Kenilworth Road as there are two stone sculptures of top hats on each side of the ground’s main entrance and another six around it.
Prediction:
While we do think Fulham are the far better side as they have already proved this season, it may not be an easy match for them. Luton Town will be no pushovers, but Fulham to score at least twice is the play here and we think Fulham should pick up the home win. Thh Cottagers are are good confidence coming into this one so look a good bet to take the three points.
