Follow live stream of Manchester Utd vs Charlton EFL Cup tie
Manchester Utd will look to continue their upturn in form by taking on League One side Charlton Athletic in the quarter final of the EFL Cup.
The Red Devils are on something of a run of form of late, their Premier League fortunes have improved, the side disposed of Everton 3-1 in the FA Cup last week at Old Trafford and Marcus Rashford is back amongst the goals.
A semi final date seems on the cards as they’ll face Charlton Athletic, who play in the third tier of English football, League One.
Eric Ten Hag is sure to make a few changes for this fixture, with United eying Champions League qualification ensuring the manager utilises his squad and rotates.
One man who won’t be featuring is Bruno Fernandes, who picked up a second yellow card in the previous round and so is suspended for this one.
Donny van de Beek will also be missing after picking up a knock against Bournemouth in the Premier League, will it remains to be seen if Jordon Sancho will be eased back into the side following the World Cup in Qatar.
