Crystal Palace v Sevilla live stream, tv channel, where to watch
Crystal Palace continue their tour of the USA with another friendly fixture against Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla in Michigan this evening.
There’s now less than two weeks before the start of the new Premier League season (Palace begin with a match against Sheffield Utd) and life without Wilfred Zaha is now firmly underway.
During this pre-season, the Eagles have been pretty busy on the pitch, taking to the field on five occasions.
Although they faced a setback with a 1-0 loss against Barnet on July 11, which kicked off their preparations, they responded by managing draws against Brondby and securing victories over Crawley Town and Watford in their following matches.
However, in their most recent encounter against Millonarios, they were handed a 2-1 defeat.
After this match tonight there’s only one more friendly for Crystal Palace against Lyon FC, so there’s not much time to get things right on the pitch.
Its been a disappointing season transfer wise for the Eagles with only Jefferson Lerma coming into the squad, arriving from Bournemouth.
It was a pretty difficult season last time out for Palace and with little investment during the summer, as well as the Zaha departure could leave fans scratching their heads.
The good news for Crystal Palace fans is that they can still call on emerging talents up front in Eberechi Eze and Odsonne Edouard.
Both should be available for this game.
Sevilla’s La Liga season is also on the horizon and they have an opener against Valencia on August 11th to look forward to.
This summer, the Andalusian side has already played five matches, securing victories against Cordoba, Ceuta, and Independiente del Valle.
Their perfect start has been somewhat marred by recent defeats to Hansa Rostock and Magdeburg.
Despite finishing in a somewhat underwhelming 12th place in La Liga last season, Sevilla managed to secure their spot in the 2023-24 Champions League by triumphing in the Europa League.
