Crystal Palace v Arsenal Bet Builder Tips- Predictions and Match Guide
Crystal Palace host Arsenal in the Premier League’s opening match of the 2022-23 season.
The Gunners’ 3-0 defeat at Selhurst Park in April was a major blow to their top four aspirations, with Mikel Arteta’s side aiming to qualify for the Champions League this season.
Palace, meanwhile, will hope to turn some of the 15 draws they recorded last season into wins in order to claim a top-half finish under Patrick Vieira.
Arsenal are odds-on 4/5 favourites to win the match, with the draw 11/4 and a Palace win 10/3.

Despite Arsenal recording some excellent results in pre-season, I personally wouldn’t be touching them at an odds-on price away to a side like Palace.
Selhurst Park is never an easy place to go, with Vieira’s side only losing four of their 19 league home games last season.
What are the bet builder predictions on the game?
I do expect goals, though, with Both Teams To Score forming the first part of my Bet Builder.
A card for each team feels likely, too, with referee Anthony Taylor showing each team 1+ card in 14 of his last 20 top-flight matches, having averaged 3.79 cards-per-game last season.
To give our Bet Builder a bit more juice, I’ll back Over 0.5 Shots for Wilfried Zaha and Bukayo Saka. Both players are likely to be on penalties should Taylor award one, with both top scoring in the league for Palace and Arsenal respectively last season.
This is a neat 2/1 (3.0) shot in what will hopefully be an open, entertaining start to the season.
Elsewhere, Gabriel Jesus has been in scintillating form in pre-season for his new club, bagging seven goals in four starts.
Paddy Power, who also offer free bets have boosted the former Manchester City forward to have a shot on target to Evens (2.0), with Sky Bet boosting him to have 2+ shots on target to 3/1 (4.0).
Both feel worth backing for a striker who will be keen to score on debut, but maximum stakes are likely to apply.
Lastly, as a longshot I like the look of Ben White to be carded @ 13/2 with SportNation (also 6/1 or 7.0 with Sky Bet).
The England defender has been playing at right-back for most of pre-season and is likely to do so again here, meaning he’ll be up against Zaha on that flank.
The Ivory Coast winger is always one of the most fouled players in the Premier League and is capable of drawing a booking out of any defender.
William Saliba is also tempting at 11/2 (6.5) with bet365 as Arsenal’s right-sided centre-half, but I’ll stick with White on the night.
Selections:
BTTS, Both Teams To Receive A Card, Over 0.5 Shots for Zaha & Saka @ 2/1 (bet365)
Gabriel Jesus 1+ Shot on Target @ EVS (Paddy Power, max stake applies)
Gabriel Jesus 2+ Shots on Target @ 3/1 (Sky Bet)
Ben White to be carded @ 13/2 (SportsNation, also 6/1 with SkyBet)
