Cristiano Ronaldo’s future still undecided following recent claims
The speculation regarding Cristiano Ronaldo’s move back to Real Madrid has died a quick death. In a tweet on his personal account, Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti dismissed the rumour that he wants to bring the Portugal superstar back to the club.
He tweet says: “Cristiano is a Real Madrid legend and he has all my love and respect. I have never considered signing him. We look forward. #HalaMadrid.”
Cristiano es una leyenda del Real Madrid y tiene todo mi cariño y respeto. Nunca me he planteado ficharle. Miramos hacia adelante. #HalaMadrid

The future of Cristiano Ronaldo has been a source of speculation throughout the summer. And yesterday, Spanish TV channel El Chiringuito TV took it up by a notch by claiming that Ancelotti wants to sign Ronaldo on live TV. However, it appears now that this is not the case.

With less than two weeks left in the window, the future of Portugal international is still undecided.
Besides Real Madrid, other possible suitors like Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have also not taken an outright interest in the 36-year-old. Football expert Fabrizio Romano reported today that both clubs have their focus turned elsewhere. PSG are focused on keeping Kylian Mbappe at the club, while City are in pursuit of Harry Kane. He also mentions that Juventus haven’t received any kind of offer so far.
Cristiano Ronaldo situation. Juventus always stated they have not received any bid, as of now. 🇵🇹 #CR7
PSG are not interested in signing Ronaldo and they plan to keep Mbappé.

Furthermore, Real Madrid have also prioritised signing Mbappe rather than going back for their former star. However, if Los Blancos manage to sign the French superstar, it could work in favour of Ronaldo. Because some reports also suggest that PSG could make a move for Ronaldo if they fail to keep Mbappe in Paris for the next season.
The World Cup winner has only one year left on his deal with PSG, and he hasn’t agreed to sign an extension so far. Even though PSG don’t really have financial constraints, they might be tempted to accept an offer of €100m+ for someone they could lose for free next summer. He is the top transfer target for Real Madrid this summer, and they seem determined to sign him.
Regardless, Cristiano Ronaldo finds himself in a rather tricky and unfamiliar position this summer. The superstar has never had any shortage of suitors for him. But this summer, his future is very much dependent on external circumstances.
