Frank Lampard’s Chelsea host Ajax on Matchday 4 in Group H, with the home side seeking three successive wins in the competition.

They beat Ajax 1-0 in Amsterdam last time out thanks to a late Michy Batshuayi winner. The Blues are favourites to edge out their opponents once again on Tuesday night, with the visitors given odds of 14/5 to leave London with all three points.

After a somewhat shaky start to the season, Lampard has guided his men to a terrific run in form. His Chelsea side sit top of the group at the halfway stage, level on points with the Amsterdam outfit.

It’s 14/5 for the pair to continue their battle at the top and take a point from the meeting at Stamford Bridge.

Ajax have played just one away game in the group stages this season, comfortably beating Valencia 3-0. They also won their first game against Lille by the same scoreline. It’s currently 40/1 for another 3-0 victory for them in west London.

Chelsea kept their first clean sheet of the competition last time out. The hosts can be backed at 9/4 to keep another one on Tuesday night.

The away side meanwhile have been given odds of 9/2 to make it three clean sheets out of four Champions League matches.

Tammy Abraham is Chelsea’s top scorer this season with 10 goals in all competitions. The young England striker will be keen to add to his tally, and he’s currently 15/4 to open the scoring on Tuesday night.

But it was his back-up striker Batshuayi who got the all-important winner last time out. The Belgian is 5/1 to once again score the first goal of the game.

For Ajax, it’s been Quincy Promes providing the real threat in front of goal in Europe. The Netherlands forward scored in the victories over Lille and Valencia. He’s currently 9/1 to score the game’s opener, and 13/5 to find the net anytime.

Both sides head into the game with two wins and a loss, but will be going for all three points in a bid to open up a gap at the top. The Blues served Ajax with their only defeat, so they can expect the away side to come out all guns blazing at the first whistle.

It’s currently 13/8 for Chelsea to win in a game involving over 2.5 goals, with Ajax currently 9/2 to take all three points with the same goals outcome.
