Thomas Tuchel and his Chelsea side have made an impressive start to their Premier League campaign and with the signing of Romelu Lukaku, and out and out goalscorer, the Blues could go extremely close to lifting the Premier League title.

Chelsea remain seven games unbeaten so far this season, and also winning with ease it seems. The Blues dispatched Tottenham and Aston Villa in their last two games by the scoreline of 3-0 and another result like that today would certainly prove to be pivotal this early in the season.

Manchester City, as you would expect are once again pushing for honors and are currently three points behind their opponents today. Pep Guardiola’s side have actually struggled in recent weeks, earning only a disappointing home draw with Southampton at home last week, and three points here would really boost the confidence of the side.

A defeat and Manchester City may be too far behind Chelsea even this early in the season.

Chelsea are currently available at 13/8 and looking at recent form that really could be the bet of the weekend. Lets not forget that Tuchel has beaten Manchester City the last three times. Its clear that City hold no worries for the the German.

What may be an even better bet is to back the Chelsea win and also back the under 2.5 goals, which comes in at odds of 9/2. Matches between these sides have been won by the single goal, and this could turn into a tight cagey affair with so much at stake.

Chelsea should ultimately come out on top though and secure their position at the top of the Premier League.
