Champions Liverpool travel to Stamford Bridge this afternoon, with both clubs looking to make it back-to-back league wins.
The Reds overcame newly-promoted Leeds 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller on the opening day of the new season. Virgil van Dijk and a Mohamed Salah hat-trick helped Jurgen Klopp’s men edge past Marcelo Bielsa’s side at Anfield on Saturday evening.
Chelsea were then in action two days later, with Jorginho, Reece James and Kurt Zouma all on the scoresheet as Frank Lampard’s men beat Brighton 3-1.

Despite all the talk of transfers off the pitch, Sunday’s meeting will be settled on the pitch, with both clubs aiming to continue their successful starts to the new campaign.
What are the Chelsea v Liverpool Odds?
Chelsea have been given odds of 9/4 to come out on top.
Klopp’s side can be backed at 11/10 to take home all three points, with a draw currently available at 11/4.
Much of the pre-match talk has unsurprisingly focused on Chelsea forward Timo Werner, who was strongly linked with a move to Anfield prior to his switch to west London.
He suffered a dead leg against Brighton, but has been given odds of 5/1 to brush that injury off and score the game’s opening goal.
His team-mates Kai Havertz and Mason Mount are currently 17/2 and 10/1 respectively to net first.
What are the Chelsea v Liverpool Predictions?
Their opponents undoubtedly have endless talent within their ranks. Salah can be backed at 4/1 to continue his goalscoring form and net the first goal of the game against his former club.
His fellow attackers Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are currently 11/2 and 6/1 respectively to score the opener on Sunday.
The clubs have plenty of history in recent months, having met four times last season.
The Reds clinched the UEFA Super Cup on penalties after a 2-2 draw, before once again coming out on top in the first league encounter, winning 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
But the Blues put an end to that run with a 2-0 FA Cup fifth round victory, but lost out to Klopp’s side in the final league fixture in a thrilling 5-3 encounter.
