The cameras are back at Ashton Gate lunchtime as Bristol City take on Cardiff City in the featured game on Sunday.
Bristol City’s form has gradually improved over the course of their season; they started their campaign with back-to-back losses against Hull City and Sunderland, but they have no losses in three games since then, with two wins and a draw.
Nigel Pearson’s men had to rely on their defence in their last win against Luton Town; as they played with 10 men for about 25 minutes, but were still able to keep a clean sheet.

Bristol City have now gone up to 15th on the Championship table; they’ll look to extend their unbeaten run to four games as they host Cardiff.
Unlike Bristol City, Cardiff’s form has gone the other way around; they kick-started their new campaign in style, with a 1:0 win against Norwich. However, the Welsh outfit would go on to win just one of their next four games, with a draw and two losses.
What’s more, Cardiff managed just one goal in their last three games in all competitions.
With Cardiff making the trip to Ashton Gate, they will likely bear in mind that they’ve lost three of their last four encounters with Bristol City; this should be a tricky fixture for Steve Morison’s men, as Bristol City are just starting to find their footing.
On that note, it’ll be interesting to see if Cardiff can get any points from this trip.
Bristol City will have to do without Mark Sykes, — who, as we mentioned — was red-carded in their previous match; they also have a few injury concerns, including Tomas Kalas, Ayman Benarous and Nathan Baker.
On the other hand, Cardiff City will have a fully healthy group of players to choose from; as they have no major injury concerns ahead of this match.
All in all, this promises to be an interesting clash.
We should point out that Bristol City and Cardiff usually don’t score a lot of goals when they meet; as five of their last seven meetings went below the 2.5 goal line, with four of those games going under 1.5.
To be fair, Bristol City have scored and conceded their fair share of goals; however, we’ve mentioned that Cardiff registered just one goal in their last three matches.
Considering meetings between these teams tend to be low-scoring, we shouldn’t expect too many goals in this match.
The under 2.5 goals option for this match pays at 17/20 odds, and we believe it’s worth betting on.
