Both Brentford and Watford have everything to play for different reasons coming into this one this afternoon.

Watford still have a chance of catching Championship leaders Norwich City to the title, and even though the Hornets are now guaranteed a place in the Premier League season, there’s no doubt that lifting the trophy as title Champions would put the icing on the cake for Xisco Munoz’s side.

Brentford are now guaranteed a place in this season’s playoffs following a 1-0 victory over relegation threatened Rotherham.

It remains to be seen what sort of side Brentford manager Thomas Frank puts out in this one. His side are now 10 games unbeaten in the league. Will he try and keep that momentum going or make a few changes thus reducing the chance of injury to his star players?

Both these sides have been in phenomenal form in recent months which has seen them play some free flowing football, but we could be in for a cagey affair. Watford will no doubt be gunning for all three points in the hope that Norwich slip up, however Brentford could keep things tight and not take too many risks.

They’ll want a full and healthy squad for the Championship playoffs, with the first leg beginning on Monday 17th May, the second leg on the Saturday 22nd May, while the playoff final at Wembley will take place on Saturday 29th May.
