Brentford come into the game on the back of an eight game unbeaten streak, with the Bees finally finding their form of last season, which saw them go oh so close to a Premier League place. Thomas Frank’s side have won their last three in the Championship, and are actually the form team in the division at the moment.

Their 16 points from their last eight games cannot be bettered by any other side at the moment, so there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic coming into this one.

Brentford currently lie in 6th place in the Championship, and sit only two points off the top of the table on 26 points.

Their opponents today, Blackburn Rovers are also in a fine run of form. Tony Mowbray’s side have won four of their last five games in the Championship, and have won their last three on the bounce against Millwall, Barnsley and Preston.

Rovers themselves currently find themselves in 9th place, only two points off the final playoff place, so a win in London today would see the side creep up into the ‘business’ end of the division.

The home side Brentford are the current favourites with the bookmakers, and can be backed at around evens to take all three points. Considering their current form, this may be the safe bet looking at the markets.

There may be some punters whoever who will be all over the Blackburn away win, considering Rover’s own rich seam of form, and the 3/1 offer could appeal to many seeking that touch more value.

The match kicks off at 3PM.
