Both these sides should be relishing this South Coast Derby clash clash at the Vitality Stadium as Skybet Championship side Bournemouth take on their local rivals, Premier League side Southampton.

Bournemouth look to have picked things up in recent weeks, culminating in a well deserved 3-0 win over Swansea City midweek. Jonathan Woodgate is finally getting the best out of his players, and the Bees are on a decent run with only one defeat in their last five Championship fixtures.

Southampton are on a very worrying slide in form and manager Ralph Hasenhüttl will be hoping that their South coast rivals don’t add to their misery. Its now ten defeats in the their last 12 games in the Premier League.

Southampton succumbed to a 1-2 home defeat against another south coast side Brighton in their last match and at 5/2 there will be plenty of interest in backing the home side to progress to the semi final.

Hasenhüttl’s side are currently around the evens mark but considering their recent form that price offers no value at all.

With a Premier League relegation fight potentially on their hands Southampton may well ring the changes for this one.

We’re siding with the Championship team to progress in this one at a decent price of 5/2.
