League Two side Oldham Athletic will take on former Premier League side AFC Bournemouth later today. For Latics fans it could provide the perfect tonic on what has been a tough start to the new season.

Harry Kewell has come in as manager (Oldham’s fifth manager in the space of a year) and his side have put some disappointing early results behind them, with the side now moving up to 14th place in League Two.

Bournemouth are finally finding their feet in the Championship and manager Jason Tindall is mounting a serious challenge to get the Cherries back to the top tier of English football after their relegation from the Premier League last season.

The FA Cup may not be on their list of priorities at the current time, with the side only two points behind second placed Swansea City, and six points behind league leaders Norwich City.

There are no surprises in the markets, with Bournemouth, who are now playing at home, favourites to make the next round at a price of 1/3, while the draw can be backed at 4/1.

There may be a touch of value in backing the Oldham away win at a mouth watering price of 8/1 – Tindall is sure to make plenty of changes to his Bournemouth side and we could be set for an upset on the South coast today.
