Championship side Bournemouth welcome third round giant killers Crawley Town to the Vitality Stadium, just two weeks after the League Two side embarrassed Premier League outfit Leeds United – thumping them 3-0 whilst rarely looking troubled.

It was a momentous day for The Reds, who actually haven’t played since that game (due to a mixture of postponements and COVID issues) so will be fresh and ready to go in hopes of another memorable occasion.
This game was originally supposed to take place on Saturday afternoon, but has been pushed back to Tuesday evenings after at least 10 players tested positive for the virus. They’ll be hoping to have a good chunk of those back for this one.
Manager John Yems had been busy in the transfer market though; quickly getting over the loss of top scorer Max Watters to Cardiff by adding three new faces. Josh Wright and Jordan Maguire-Drew (loan) have joined from Leyton Orient, whilst James Tilley has signed from Grimsby Town.
Best Bournemouth v Crawley Bets:
Back Bournemouth No Clean Sheet at 6/5 with Bet365
Bournemouth, on the other hand, have gone cold since putting four goals past another League Two side – Oldham Athletic – in their third round tie. The Cherries haven’t won any of their three league games since booking their place in the fourth round, and haven’t scored a goal for over 225 minutes.
They followed up a 1-1 draw against Millwall with back-to-back 1-0 losses to Luton Town and Derby County. Worryingly, the sides they are losing to are not good. Luton hadn’t won in 6 away games before their victory at the Vitality and Derby had lost three on the trot without scoring prior to taking all three points at Pride Park.
It leads me to believe that Crawley will be able to cause them problems, despite the gulf in status between the two. Oldham had 13 shots in their tie, and were arguably the better side in the first half too, so taking Bournemouth No Clean Sheet at 4/5 with GentingBet feels like a great play.
The away side are the 4th highest scorers in League Two, and have scored in eleven consecutive games in all competitions – including eight in a row away from home; while the Cherries have allowed the 7th most shots on target in the Championship.
